VLADISLAV FINAGHIN: STABILITY IS MARKED IN ECONOMY OF THE DUBPOSSARY DISTRICT.

 

Analysis of productive activity of enterprises and organizations of the Dubossary district for the passed testify certain stability outlined in its economy. At least, Vladislav Finaghin, the head of Dubossary state administration, considers it that way.

In 2002, the price for production grew for 1.7% more in comparison with the previous. By words of Vladislav Finaghin, last year working collectives of Eastern electric network, sewing factory, mechanical plant, Dubossary bakery, and other enterprises worked enough well.

The annual baking of bread and bakery made up about two thousand tons, which corresponds to normal consumption level of the town and settlements of the district. Last year, the quality of baked production considerably improved, the assortment was enlarged. In the started year, the collective of bakery intends to go on working on improvement of bread quality and enlargement of baked production. In the first quarter of 2003, it is planned to put into action the mini-stove for small goods, which will let to reduce volumes of natural gas consumption.

By his words, the head of state administration is pleased not only with economic but also social situation in the town and district. During the year, a whole number of social programs is accomplished, including public education. General education schools in particular purchased computers, and kindergartens – musical equipment.

Last year, problems of paying pensions became a real headache for local authority because of well known reasons, but event that problem was successfully resolved. Pensioners from the town and villages received pensions for December yet last year. By words of Vladislav Finaghin, last year indicators of consumption market. Growth in both absolute and relative figures was marked, the volume of paid services has grown for 20%. The fact testifies that either people with good incomes in the town and district became more numerous or that solvency of the urban and rural population ahs generally raised. The head of state administration considers that both things are not bad. Anyway, in his opinion, there is no grounds to be concerned if the population’s life worsens.
