KIDNAPPERS OF CHILDHOOD.

Dniestrians got acquainted with kidnapping, well known by citizens of other states, in 2000, when a schoolboy had kidnapped his classmate in Tiraspol. The parents trying to save the life of their child by themselves did not address the law-enforcement bodies. The story finished tragically…

The similar case takes place in Bendery in two years. In the morning, on the way to school, a seven-year-old boy Sasha was kidnapped, and at 12 PM, his parents suspecting nothing, having picked up the receiver of the alarmingly rung phone, heard unknown criminals with horror; they demanded $ 30 000 threatening to kill their son. And though kidnappers insisted on unconditional submission and fulfillment of all their demands, the parents took a difficult but the only correct decision and entrust the fate of Sasha to professionals. As it cleared up later, degenerates were not going to leave the child alive, regardless of the fact they would receive the random or not.

The kidnappers were acting very thoroughly, they seemed not to have left any trace to detectives, but it may have seemed only at first sight. The mobile phone number, fixed by the automatic number identifier of Sasha's parents, was registered to a false abonent; it was a hitch though a weak one. The detectives had to examine thousands of outgoing and ingoing calls, connected with that number. But as far as after hours of laborious work, into view of the operational collaborators there appeared a young man, whom the criminals had called for about 10 times. The detained had long refused to recognize acquaintance with the kidnappers, but already in an hour the detectives learned names of the criminals, their approximate site, and - what was the most important - their plan to murder Sasha. It was necessary to act immediately. Detention of the kidnappers was the secondary objective, the child's life being far more important.

Information about the criminals' site was rather approximate. About a month before, they had rented one of garages of the garage-and-construction cooperative society. Hundreds of people were very carefully interviewed, and one of guardians recognized the criminals' photos. Carefulness was not unnecessary: judging by phone calls, incoming to Sasha's parents, the criminals were nervous. They were regularly demanding that the parents should have not call the militiamen. Life of the little man, becoming more and more burdensome for the kidnappers, might have been broken at any moment.

Pretending to be car-owners, the detectives rented one neighboring garages, and started observation. By words of the guardian, when renting the garage, the criminals were interested, whether there was subsoil there, therefore, Sasha must have been namely there. They needn't wait too much. After beginning of twilight, the silhouette of a slim tall guy appeared in the gates of garage. The detectives got an order: if the door opened - start the assault.

The operation was carried out flawlessly. The crimes were still thinking about them to be masters of the situation did not understand that it had been really happening, but already no one paid attention at them. Having lifted the heavy lid of the subsoil, the detectives saw frightened eyes of the child. Sasha was looking with horror at people going down to him and he seemed to have got ready for the worst. But having seen the service certificate in hands of his savior, the boy burst out crying…

The kidnappers, detained on the spot, did not try to frighten the detectives. At the very first interrogation, they gave confessional evidence and described hour-to-hour the process of their failed operation. The reason of such rare amenability was in aspiration of the criminals to avoid meeting with the parents of Sasha. As learnt later, of the kidnappers - Maxim Filioglo - was their neighbor and knew very well that Sasha’s father had sold his shop in order to depart abroad. Namely proximity became the grounds of intention to kill the child regardless of the operation’s process, to which they had been getting ready for over a month. In order to receive a starting capital, the criminals were trying to recruit the most suitable people into their team but they failed. There were no more people who wished to make such a cynical deal. They borrowed money from their close people for buying the car, mobile phone, and even an electric shock apparatus; they assured those people that would give money back exactly in a month. None of them seemed to doubt the success of the action planned by them.

The kidnapping had been postponed for several times, because Sasha had been rarely alone, without a company of friends, and the criminals dared not to act with witnesses available even little ones. And once the criminals were lucky…

By the Interpol information, Filioglo was searched by law-enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation. The town department of internal affairs from Bendery is expecting for arrival of Moscow detectives, and it is quite possible that many interesting things are yet to be learnt about personalities of our ‘heroes’. However, for now the criminals are arrested and wait for their fate. Of course, they will be punished deservedly. But Sasha… Will the long term of imprisonment, that the kidnappers will get, be able to cross out his frightened sight and recover the interrupted childhood?
